We are expanding the AMEW Electrical Team!  Currently, we are looking for an Electrician Apprentice/ Helper.  

We are a highly rated electrical company looking for a hardworking, professional individual to assist our Master Electrician with commercial and residential electrical services in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas.  This is an entry-level position with the possibility of entering into the electrical trade.

Job requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license, and transportation, to travel to various work sites.
• Strong desire to be a part of a successful, growing company by contributing to the skilled reputation, mission, and vision of AMEW Electrical Services.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, working on ladders, and handling and carrying materials.
• Must be dependable.
• Must work with integrity, diligence, and professionalism.
• Self-motivated.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Some electrical or construction site experience is helpful, but not required.

Job Type:

• 30+ hours per week.
• No weekends, with the exception of special projects.
• Opportunity to become a trained electrician.

Compensation:

Starting hourly rate: $10 (or more), depending on experience.

Other requirements:

High School diploma or GED.
